actually... just wanna say that we have 'more' time now, depending on what you're doing during the holidays. so if the class still wants to have a class tee, we can all participate by submitting a few designs. then we can have a poll.
i know the class tee thing has been delayed for quite long. but no one is to be blamed. i think everyone shares the fault. though there were people who took the initiative to come up with designs, we lacked co-operation and so we didnt succeed... so if we all want a class tee, we should make full use of the holidays!
and anyone can post their designs on this blog. add pictures to this blog!

GENERAL ELECTIVE MODULES: (Minimum 1)
For the upcoming semester, you'll be required to take one GEM. I annex these links for your consideration.
Please choose wisely as each GEM bears a weightage of 2 credits, similar to that of IDEA, RWP and IPDS.
1) Analytical & physical chemistry 2) Applied electricity & electronics 3) Character development 4) CEP A 5) Critical reasoning skills 6) Materials in practice 7) GEM
As you can see, it's a pretty relaxed schedule, so you may want to sign up for the foreign language programme. They are offering a 2-classes-per-week (2hrs per lesson, 5.30-7.30pm) option at the moment so that you will be able to catch up with the current batch, my batch.
For those w/o CCA, you may opt for the 3.30-5.30pm class on Wednesday. If not, you may stick to the 2hrs-per-week schedule. Fees would be in the region of 400 bucks, inclusive of textbooks (for my course).You will receive 4 CCA POINTS per year if you pass the exams.
Choices include Japanese, Korean, German, Spanish, Malay, Chinese and French. If I'm not mistaken, the closing date for application would be 29 September 2008, the day after our CEPB exams. Kindly log on to SP website for details.
German would be useful in the field of chemical engineering should you be interested in working abroad, Japanese too. As for Zul, please take up chinese to play mahjong.

credits to kian how, he found a reasonably-priced chalet that i believe may attract most of you.
HomeTeamNS Resorts, choosing outlets at bukit batok and pasir ris preferably.
i personally feel that the outlet at pasir ris is more attractive. it's more spacious considering up to 16 people going (and for mahjong, laughs). has a beach too. there're many facilities for the bukit batok outlet, but i guess most of you aren't interested in them other than cycling.
so once again, tell us your available dates. and make sure you make yourself available on those dates since you chose it. we'll plan in a way that caters to most of you. members of HomeTeamNS please step out, application with your membership will be a lot cheaper.

okay class.
this is about the chalet, since no plannings have been done up till now.
i just need everyone to state their availabilities on september. i've checked that coasta sands resorts have are running out of vacancies, so we need to get our buttocks moved now.
no worries, i'm a NTUC card member. i can proceed with the online booking anytime, so long as most of you are still keen about the chalet thingy.
unless kian how has a good recommendation, the whatever bungalow chalet he mentioned, then you can ignore this post and i shall leave the booking to kian how.
